Love Leggetts - we've been coming for years. This place literally has it all: good people, good food, and good service. Big Max pizza is a must, and we love when they have Bingo in the summer months. Just when I thought they couldn't be any better, Leggetts recently donated a prize basket for our Beach Clean, demonstrating their philanthropy and care for the community - big thank you!
A staple from my childhood I'm glad to see Leggetts still going strong. I grew up in Manasquan so Saturdays at the beach and a Leggetts dinner were a must! After I was 21 I would be here most nights with friends to close the bar down and enjoy the weekly specials. Even 10 years later I love to see that the atmosphere hasn't changed. Great bar seating, friendly staff, amazing bartenders. Strap in for a wild night of bingo on Thursdays or enjoy some live music on the patio during the weekend, you can't go wrong here. Menu has the staples, id highly recommend the pizza (paired with a Miami Vice (floater of course)). Truly a Jersey Shore experience if you ever find yourself in the area I can't speak enough good things about this place
The property is very accommodating of their guests needs. The wait staff is very patient, even late at night. The mozz stick cheese pull was worth the 20 cover. Beautiful landscaping in their outdoor dining area as well.
Delicious food at a prime location near the beach - would highly recommend. I visited in the off season and their outdoor patio was closed but it looked like a beautiful place to hang out outdoors. The service was good but the food was even better. Their french onion soup is fantastic. We also had the chicken nachos, wings and pizza and all were delicious.
Love love love Leggett's! It was the first time there for my husband who said this bar was great. Carl the bartender is fantastic. Food was awesome. Never disappoints!!
Favorite dinner spot- we hit it several times during our weeks vacation and the food is great. The menu has narrowed a bit over the years, but what they offer has always been high quality. Great times in the bar after dinner as well, and they usually have decent live music in the outdoor dining area. My only suggestion is to open up the beer selection outside- the indoor and outdoor beer menus are not the same which can be a little strange having to switch products if you are waiting for an outside table at the inside bar...
Highly recommend the Big MAX pizza! Our waitress, Paige, was attentive and friendly. The Hawaiian pizza lacked some flavor, however, the Miami Vice drink w/dark rum ontop definitely made up for it.
Best apps were the potato wedges, spinach and artichoke dip, and wings. Clams and shrimp were good and mozzarella sticks were typical to any other place. Bingo was being played while we ate which was cool to see.
